How it works
Big problems, bite-sized quests.
Your head is full. Hopeful Skies is where it goes. Pour in what is on your mind, and the overwhelming stuff turns into small quests you can actually start.
Pour it in
Tasks, worries, half-ideas. Drop them in the messy way they arrive. Nothing needs a label first.
Get a small quest
Every big goal is cut into quests of 5 to 25 minutes. One clear action, one finish line, and a first step of two minutes or less for the days when starting is the hard part.
Do the one thing
A short daily list: one easy win, one step on your top goal, one you pick. More only if you ask for it.
Watch your island change
Finish a quest in real life and something shifts at home. A cleared path, a lit window, a new neighbour.
Your island
A home you are happy to look at all day.
You crashed on a floating island with a wrecked Skyship. Real progress clears the wreckage, grows a cozy home and, bit by bit, a whole village. It follows your real day: morning light, golden hour, night, the seasons, the weather. Built to live on your screen, on iPhone, Mac and PC.
Home
A cozy house that grows with your crew and your progress. Something visibly new every few days.
Ship
The long promise. Buried under vines at first. Mended one small, satisfying piece at a time.
Horizon
What lies beyond? Curiosity and little drips of lore from the world of Forgotten Skies.
The crew
You are not doing this alone.
Your chosen family lives on the island with you, and it grows as you do.
Linus Second in command
Funny, loyal, dedicated and a little chaotic. He forgets things, you straighten them out, and somehow it works. He has a voice, and he is good company. In the evening he asks what is on your mind, and he listens.
Archie Italian greyhound
A small, elegant dog you look after. He loves treats and a warm spot by the fire. He never suffers if you skip a day.
Your crew Grows with you
Earn new crew members and create them yourself: a name, a look, a role like the cook or the gardener. Or invite friends to join your island. They see your avatar. Never your tasks.
Rewards
Finish a quest. Get a surprise.
When a quest is done, something is waiting: a treat for Archie, a treasure, a piece of the world's story, a new crew member, a quirky new animation. There is always something. Rewards are cosmetic and warm, and they never lock the tool.
Soft on purpose
- No guilt. Skip a day and the island simply waits for you.
- Nothing decays. Seasons change the light, never undo your work.
- No leaderboards. No comparing, no streak shame.
- No loot boxes. No paid re-rolls, ever.
- No ads. Nothing interrupts your calm.
- Gentle motion. Slow and eased. Nothing flashes.
- Humour for everyone. Quirky, warm, family-film funny.

Who is behind it
Hi, I am Robyn.
I have made games for 25 years, at Wooga, Ubisoft and other game companies. Today I run Protagonists! from Berlin, and I build productivity tools with a cozy environment.
Hopeful Skies is the first of a series. I built it for myself first, to keep up with a busy head inside a world I actually want to come back to. Then people asked if they could use it too.
Our vision. A world where every person has the power to shape their own story and contribute to our collective future.
Our mission. Equip the protagonists of this world with the tools they need to realize their full potential.
Come aboard early.
Hopeful Skies is an early prototype, and the island above is the real thing. The alpha is invite-only, friends and family first. Tell me you would like to be on the list.
